Terms and Conditions

 

 

TERMINOLOGY                                                                                 Prop – Items hired out by the owner to the hirer for an agreed fee.

Owner – Charlibelle Parties ABN  - 51543578904

Hirer – Persons temporarily hiring props or equipment from Charlibelle Parties for an agreed fee.

 

 

PAYMENTS:

  1. All prices include GST.

  2. 25% or $50 deposit is required to reserve your booking, whichever is more.

  3. Full payment including cartage and any additional items to be paid a minimum of 14 days prior to party date.

  4. If full payment is not received props and equipment will not be delivered and deposit is forfeited (no refund).

  5. Payments can be made in cash or direct deposit to:

  •  BSB: 124-055      

  • Acc No. : 22346446

 

 

PRICING POLICY:

  1. All prices are subject to change without notice, excluding parties for which deposits have been paid for.

 

 

DELIVERY:

  1. Delivery and pick up of props and equipment is included (within the Townsville area) in the relevant party package price.

  2. Additional cost of $50 may be incurred if the party location is deemed to be outside the included area, Charlibelle will use their own discretion in determining this, the decision will then be final. 

  3. Deliveries are to the street address specified by the hirer on the booking form.

  4. The hirer grants Charlibelle Parties permission to enter the property at the said address for the delivery and pickup of Charlibelle Parties equipment and props at the specified time.

  5. Hirer must provide safe and secure access to and from the party site.

  6. Hirer must be present at time of collection otherwise an additional fee of $50 will apply.

  7. Props and equipment on hire are not to be moved from the delivered address without written consent from Charlibelle Parties.

  8. Hirer must pack goods in their respective containers at the end of the hire period in a complete, clean and dry state.

  9. The owners count and decision as to the condition of goods prior to delivery and return shall be final.

  10. Rates do not include cartage. If goods need to be carted by the driver of Charlibelle Parties an additional fee may apply. Please advise us if this applies to the above mentioned address.

 

 

CANCELLATION FEES:

  1. Cancellation fees are calculated on notice given and resulting in a percentage rate of the pre-paid monies being retained:

  • Cancellations of bookings with four (4) or more weeks notice incurs a 25% fee.

  • Cancellations between two (2) to four (4) weeks notice incurs a 25% fee.

  • Cancellations between two (2) and one (1) weeks notice incurs a 50% fee.

  • Cancellations with up to 48 hours notice forfeits all pre-paid monies.

  1. If through circumstances beyond the control of the owner and the owner is unable to provide the props then the owner may cancel a booking in which full refund of monies paid will be given.

  2. The owner reserves the right to replace props with a suitable substitute in the event of unavailability.

 

 

LOSS AND DAMAGES:

  1. All props and equipment remain the property of Charlibelle Parties.

  2. Props are not intended for use in wet weather conditions as they will become damaged.

  3. The hirer agrees to keep Charlibelle Parties props and equipment in the same condition as when received.

  4. In the event of any props or equipment being lost, destroyed, stolen, damaged or not returned to the owner the hirer agrees to pay for the items to be repaired or replaced at the current replacement cost.

  5. In the event of loss or theft of items supplied, the hirer must provide the following,

  • A police report in the case of theft

  • A signed statutory declaration in the case of loss

  1. A cleaning fee of $50 will be charged if props or equipment are returned dirty, Linen not included

  2. Although all reasonable care is taken no responsibility is accepted by Charlibelle Parties for any damage that may be caused as a result of your party. This includes the erection and dismantling of marquees, props or any other equipment supplied.

  3. Charlibelle Parties accepts no responsibility to any damages to utilities e.g. electricity, water, sewerage or pool pipes.

 

 

WEATHER POLICY:

  1. Charlibelle Parties props and equipment are not intended for use in high winds or wet weather conditions.

  2. In the unfortunate event that it is raining on the day of your party day your party will need to be postponed to an alternative date convenient for the hirer and Charlibelle Parties. The hirer may rebook within a period of 6 months after the initial booking date. After that monies will be forfeited.

  3. Charlibelle Parties reserve the right to postpone your party the morning of the party day or at any time during that day if the weather turns bad. In the event of unsuitable weather after delivery has been complete, the party cannot be rescheduled.

  4. If appropriate cover has been sourced and there is suitable cover for the unloading of props and equipment then the party may go ahead in wet weather.

  5. If the hirer chooses not to rebook as opposed to rescheduling then the booking fee will be forfeited.

 

 

SAFETY:

  1. Children’s safety depends upon you. Your personalised supervision is absolutely required as the hirer of Charlibelle Parties props and equipment. The safety of everyone attending the party is your responsibility.

  2. When a Charlibelle representative is present, this person/s is in no way responsibility for the safety at your party. They are there to assist you and not responsible for the safety of your guests.

  3. The hirer agrees to use all props in a way that is safe for all guests.

  4. It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure the items hired are suitable for both age and skill level of persons using the props.

  5. The hirer is responsible for all safety measures whilst equipment and props are in their possession and are only used as intended or advised by Charlibelle Parties.

  6. The hirer agrees to follow all safety instructions or booklets when provided for the equipment hired.

 

 

PERMITS AND PERMISSIONS:                                                                        

  1. Park permits/ permissions or consents is the sole responsibility of the hirer.

  2. Any fees/ fines incurred by not having the required permissions/ permits will be the responsibility of the hirer.
